I thought the same thing! And it's weird, but when she talks in her normal voice, it makes her sound a lot older. But maybe that's just me...

Anna hails from Rochdale which in on the Yorkshire/ Lancershire border. Thats in the north of England from you Americans out there. Personally I prefer her real northern accent far better than any of the put on ones. I saw her on Jonathon Ross the other day and she was using a modified southern accent. I can only assume that she was told or otherwise felt compelled to use it in order to apear more "accesable".
