I'm assuming you just started watching the show this season. First of all, he's gay. Secondly, he's only married to the Russian prostitute because his homophobic father forced them to have sex at gunpoint and she happened to get pregnant. I find it odd and disturbing that you hope he ends up with Svetlana when he is obviously in love with Ian.
