What a wonderful actress!

I've been a long-time fan of The Office and watched every episode, but it's only this latest season that I've realized JUST how good Jenna is. Some of these episodes hinge on her comedic charisma. I've really realized that all throughout the show she has just developed a very consistent, particular character. Even if the show has dropped in quality, she really is wonderful week in and week out. I must admit, I had doubts before in certain episodes, but now I realize it was all Pam and it was all true to the character and that Jenna has a magnificent range. In the episode with her and Jim's fight, when she was holding in the tears while on the phone, I was simply floored at how beautiful and devastating and powerful that was. I think she's wildly underrated and has unbelievable stores of talent in desperate need of some big time movies to show them off!

I agree, Jenna is very good in the Office, her acting ability never in doubt. Pam is not as demonstrative as Michael or Dwight, and downplaying a role such as Pam requires a talented actress. Her phone fight with Jim is her best performance of the series. But what happened to the big fight, I was looking forward to that? I do disagree about Pam in the current season. I have disliked the marriage "crisis" story line right from the start, because to me the whole thing is preposterous. The marriage is fine in S8, now suddenly it isn't, and it makes no sense. Both Pam and Jim are behaving out of character, I hardly recognise them from the previous seasons. It is all down to some atrocious writing. The story line has become more bizarre as it has progressed going from Brian the stalker to couples counseling. The latter after just three plus years of marriage!! Jenna has made several movies, but not with any great success. Lollilove and A little Help are worth seeking out. But for me, her medium is TV rather than films.
