Sorry fanboys.

Nathan Fillion is never gonna be a big, A-list actor.

That time has long past.

This whole scenario has already played out With Bruce Campbell.

He's a b-actor, a tv actor, a cult actor.

Ok....but it doesn't make him any less awesome

How cute.  I think you're funny...that you'd post this expecting...what? Bubbles bursting exponentially? A disturbance in the Fillion force/fandom? Fillion'll be all right. 

I think you're both right and wrong.

You're making the mistake that only "Hollywood" has A-list actors, that's a fallacy with people who appreciate all entertainment (I don't rate Jeremy Renner as much as you or others do, because I never a lot of the movies he is in)

TV Actors, Voice Actors, Movie Actors don't get graded simply because of where they choose to act, so I think what you meant to say was "he's not an A-List movie actor" where I would agree, because he is surely an A-List TV star. And that's way more important for adults as entertainment.

We accept your apology.

Let's be bad guys.

Its what I like best about him. He is a nerd guy and he loves it! He is a cult actor.

I think he would be happy to play Mal and goes to Comic Con for years :-)

reply

Oh that is B.S, his fans crave him being some big time Chris Pratt or Bradley Cooper T.V star turned A-list moviestar type actor. That's all they ever go on about so I don't want to here this stuff about being happy that he is a cult actor.

I don't believe you or any other hardcore fan that claims such a thing. You guys will say that you don't care now because you are starting to realize that despite the constant fan casting and obsession with him that he is network television star of a formulaic procedural drama (which is great for him but Castle wasn't going to turn anyone into a movie star) but will never become an A-list movie star. His last chance was 5 years ago honestly. He's 45 now which isn't old but does mean that he won't be becoming a movie star. Even male actors reach a point where they are considered too old to break out. If he was already scoring big films in his 30's then his age wouldn't matter as much but he isn't scoring any big roles.

Funny thing is I don't know if Fillion even cares but his fans sure do.

I am a fan of NF. Yes. Not a hard core fan as you called it. I am happy with his carrear so far. Just like that.

Can you believe that? No, sorry, but thats what I think. I dont care if he will never be in the called A-list. I have other fav actores in that "list", like Colin Firh. Wait, is he A list actor?

Nobody knows what NF thinks about it. Not me, cause I dont know him. I just think that he might be happy. He loves that Comic Com stuff and so on. Btw, did you see Much ado about nothing? Few people believed he could delivered so good "serious stuff".

I might be acting a little too over the top towards you because I'm sick of hearing about how he should play this or that role from his fans. Maybe you are personally happy with his career but most of his fans are not, if they were they wouldn't be so obnoxious to me about him. I like plenty of A-list, B-list and C-listers and I get rooting on your guy I just dislike how fans often become annoying about it.
