She just seems like a very down to earth person, she has the exact sense of humor that I love, I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's just right for me personally. I suppose the only thing I would say that I don't love about her humor is the self deprecating side of it, it gets a little tiresome sometimes. The offensive side of her humor, I can deal with because I don't think it comes from a place of malice. One of the things I love the most about her is that anyone is fair game in her eyes, she doesn't shy away from satirizing people because they're black or gay or female, she treats everyone equally. She also doesn't really care if people like her humor or not and I think that's wonderful and very brave.
I suppose I would say that Liz Lemon in 30 Rock is my overall favorite performance of Tina's. I guess my least favorite performance of hers would be Portia in Admission although I hasten to add that I still enjoyed it. For me, Tina has a natural charisma that makes any performance she gives enjoyable to watch.
How about you? Any particular performance you enjoyed?
