1948-1972. One of Warhol's Factory Girls

Joe Dallesandro I'm happy to say went to Europe and got out of the insanity surrounding The Factory. He's still alive and kicking at 72! Sorry though that Andrea Feldman (1948-1972) jumped out the window of her NYC apartment shortly after making her last film Heat. She's got that incredibly weird and annoying fake accent (God knows what it's supposed to be) but she grows on you. Morrissey called her the best actress he's seen. I saw Trash in 1982 and hated it, but later got what it was supposed to be. Rolling Stone back when it was actually hip and cutting edge, called it the film of the year!
Anyway sounds like her parents did the whole involuntary commitment trip popular at the time with rebellious girls (including Edie Sedgewick). She probably would have been fine had she freed herself from her parents' grip…and Andy's. Maybe if she'd stayed in Europe away from all the insanity.
