yeah apparently it's true. if he isn't i'll be thoroughly disappointed. i think he's a great actor, loved him in Forever Strong.

he's to play an ex-high school football star who now works as a bartender @ the grill. he's friends with Matt, who takes a job there because of his financial situation (no mom, vicky gone, we don't know about his dad). it's said he gets "friendly" with one of the lucky VD ladies... still don't know if its the aunt (doubtful b/c of the history teacher, but possible), theories are about elena, although she's got her hands full with stefan and damon. people say the most likely candidates are Caroline and Bonnie. Since Matt has clarified he wants Caroline just as a friend, and we have no sense of a future for the Matt/Bonnie fans.

So we'll have to wait and see!!
