Holy crap how'd I miss this?

I watched Sixteen Candles for the first time in years yesterday, and I had to reassure myself that it was in fact the original and not a remake with Sean Faris playing Jake Ryan. Anyone else think him and Michael Schoeffling look alike?

A young Michael Schoeffling and him look very much alike. Both very tall, dark and handsome. yikes! =)
