From Law + Order to Vacancy--What Happened?

I just saw Ethan in his role as a mechanic in Vacancy, and I was quite amazed. Did anyone see him play one of the two bad guys on "Watch" the episode of Law & Order: CI? It was a disturbing episode, not only because of the two mentally disturbed antagonists, but also because of how these two antagonists looked. Ethan Embry and Brad Renfro were both on there, both former child actors, both very good looking, and both had let themselves go by the time they shot this Law& Order episode. They both had packed on considerable weight, and both had noticeable receeding hairlines. I just chalked it up to getting older and all that. But then you see Ethan as the mechanic on Vacancy, and he looks back to a good weight, and his hair's not as noticeable. I wouldn't think he'd let himself go with the weight just for one episode on L&O. wow!
Did anyone else notice this?

I didn't see those and I'm not saying this is for sure but, you can't always trust how you see a person in a scene as how they look outside it. By what you described, I would say they should have looked like they let themselves go. I was working on a tv show yesterday he was working on and he looked in rough shape for the part but it was all film appearence. At one point he had a bruised up eye that you would think for sure it was real. But it's all effects.

I had the exact same reaction when I saw that episode. At first, I didn't even think it could be Ethan Embry. Brad Renfro has had some hard living, but I don't know if Embry has the same background.
