I've just seen a picture of him with Ron Howard on the set of The Dark Tower movie and he doesn't look the best looking of men! Yeah I get that he is tall and masculine but he not really that great looking! maybe it's a matter of taste but he doesn't do a thing for me! there are far better looking black men working in Hollywood.
shareHe is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly he is actually very handsome; however I love Idris for his talent and not his looks because at the end of the day there is always someone that looks better. Physical beauty is not lasting. We spend too much time on how someone looks than their character. Acting has become such a superficial art form. We need to go back to radio drama when you had to really feel what was going on and you were not clouded by how someone looks. I had seen Idris in movies and was not impressed because he was kind of thrown in at times I am sure just to add color. He was just another good looking actor in a sea of good looking people. When I saw Luther is when I understood what a special gem Idris actually is and there is no one out there like him. He is truly in a class by himself. He is definitely more than meets the eye.

I wish but sadly no. I just see a lot of talent in this man that really has not been utilized properly with the exception of the show Luther. This is the show that really show cases what he can do. I have just grown to really appreciate him is all.
