going to win an oscar+_+

After watching 12 years a slave there is no doubt in my mind he will win. Loved him in children of men and red belt.

To one degree or another, I've loved everything he's done since Amistad.

eeeek!! I'm on edge just thinking about the nominations, which will be announced on Jan. 16th (I think). I'm so hoping he wins. If he's up against Robert Redford, and possibly Tom Hanks, I have a feeling it's gonna be a tough.

I was actually thinking they might give it to DiCaprio for Wolf of Wall Street. I can't help but remember from a few years ago when Viola Davis was the favorite to win and lost to Meryl Streep.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.

Really, Dicaprio's been snubbed more than once by the Academy, it'll be interesting to see how that goes...

Tom Hanks is an Academy favorite -- nominated 3 times, won twice. Robert Redford is just one of those great legendary figures that the Academy also adores. I think it's definitely gonna be a tough call. Totally not predictable.

The only time DiCaprio was "snubbed" was for WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE? He didn't deserve to win for any of the others. He doesn't display the depth and nuance of an Oscar winner.
Ejiofor will be winning this year. Finally.

Amen, Chiwetel Ejiofor delivered one amazing performance in this beautiful picture.

Loved Leo in Wolf. I think The Academy may have an excuse to give to Leo this year. I would say to anyone to not get their hopes up for awards. I would be happy with Chiwetel. I would be happy with Leo if Chiwetel loses.
