he's definitely not boring. He has a kind of intense charm that comes thru, and not in an overdone way, but believable. Awesome to watch.

Wish he could talk more about his process in interviews.

This guy has quickly become one of my favorite actors. I'm a pretty big movie buff and to see his ability to be so versatile in his roles from movies like Four brothers (he cracked me up in that movie, he was awesome) to 2012 and Children of Men is spectacular. I can't pronounce his name and wish I could. I think it would be easier to get his name out there if it were.

He;s definitely one of those people I would go and see the movie knowing nothing about it just because he is a lead role in it, and actors like that are rare in my book.

I doubt if the OP knows what or who he's talking about. If you look at his history, he kinda hops around for board to board criticizing...lol

I do remember some bashing going on re 2012, but I think that mostly had to do with the direction and plot of the movie -- not really Chiwetel's performance (which was actually quite good).

He may be boring in person, a lot of good actors really are.

However the characters he portrays are interesting, and this is what's most important.
