Will Chiwetel Ejiofor be an ideal James Bond Villain after Javier Bardem

Chiwetel Ejofor won’t be allowed to go off the radar after his brilliant performance in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave as the British actor is now being eyed to play the villain in the next untitled James Bond Movie.

According to reports, Ejiofor is at the top of the list of people being considered to play the villain in Sony and MGM’s Bond 24 however the studio is yet to make anything official regarding this. At this point, the only confirmation gotten is that Daniel Craig will reprise his role as 007 James Bond, while Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris will also be reprising their roles from Skyfall with Sam Mendes also re.turning to direct this one.

He played a great villain in Serenity, I think he would be a good choice.

I agree, he'd be fantastic. Hope he gets the role!

I thought he was a horrible villain in Serenity and I fear he would bring the same to the table as a Bond villain, but you never know. He is a fantastic actor I just hated his Serenity acting.

I agree. He was great as The Operative.

So dissapointed this won't be happening after hearing so long he was shortlisted to play this so-called villain. I'm hoping it doesn't mean the door is completely shut... perhaps the next installment of Bond, they'll re-consider him again.

Also I love Daniel Craig but I think Chiwetel would make an excellent Bond. That's of course if the suits at SONY have nothing to do with it (as apparently they think films with black leads don't sell overseas).

Ughhhh...
