Joel is brilliant in a great Australian independent film.
Jai Courtney was great too.
Joel failed miserably in inane Hollywood mainstream formulaic sludge, like Exodus, which was annihilated by critics.
Intelligent independent thought-provoking cinema is Joel's forte.

Hugh garnered praise and kudos for a tremendous range of performances, and then appeared in one mainstream film too many, Chappie, Pan, Eddie the Eagle, demolished by the critics. Pan was annihilated.
The welcome mat for Hugh started to fray at the edges, stimulating a maelstrom of keyboard haters.
I am not a hater, they are irrelevant.
I try to post a critique, which contains positive and admonitory material.
