Yeap, even before reading the book I thought he was a great cast as Tom Buchanan then after reading it I knew he was the one. I just saw Warrior on Netflix and I just found a new favorite actor.

Watch 'The Square' co written by Joel and his brother Nash (and directed by Nash). He is amazing in it. I have been a huge fan since then. It's a brilliant underrated movie. Also check out 'Animal Kingdom'.

i'am agree!
he knock Leonardo DiCaprio and specially Tobey Maguire into a cocked hat.

His performance was awesome as Tom! He is such a solid Aussie actor. His entire body of work from what I have seen has been good, not a dud performance in there. He always picks interesting films, interesting characters, and he has changed and adapted physically to suit all his parts too. He is a brave actor who makes brave choices. And he is handsome in an off beat, manly way.

I thought all three male leads did a wonderful job in Gatsby but, yeah, he was impressive as Tom.

I didn't see Gatsby but in Warrior he was phenominal. I actually first saw him in King Arthur and I immediately started following his roles. It was a small part but I just loved his acting. And then watching warrior, can't be more impressed. This is one of the best actors in movies today and he is one that really appreciates the craft, has range, and can play a ton of characters. This is not a supporting actor, he can do it all. By far my favorite actor.

So I finally got around to seeing it and he didn't disaapoint. Almost made me like Tom Buchanan. Almost.

There are few things as fetching as a bruised ego on a beautiful angel.
