i think shes amazing actress. Shes not ur typical hollywood girl though, people just wont cast her as the "lead actress" unless its some weird indie movie. unfortuantly. coz she is a better actress then the majority of idiots they cast as female leads.
She gets the supporting roles, the lesbian roles the butch cop roles lol.
I wish she would do more comedies as she is really funny in real life.
But blame hollywood not her.

Well, she was part of one of the best shows to ever exist, "Carnivàle" so give her credit for that at least. Yeah, she's often played similar characters but I still think she's a memorable actress. As far as Hollywood, if the spirit of the 90's had continued, at least partly, she would probably have a more high profile career by now but at some point offbeat stopped being cool. Which also explains the career nosedive of Claire Danes, who had to play an autistic person to get noticed again.
