Really? How interesting? Because that's such a stretch for him, when you recall his past credits in Saving Private Ryan, The Unit, and Pacific Rim.

He couldn't be more typecast, though he doesn't seem to mind. It's steady work.

The Eleventh Hour is 10 o'clock.

he was a standout playing the 'negotiator" in Captain Philips. He was actually the Seal commander.

I like his deadpan voice.

Saw Captain Phillips today. This guy looks and sounds like a total badass, fit the role well. I always thought he could've been a great Batman, this just makes me more sad because he isn't.

For me as soon as I saw him in that role the end of Captain Philips turned into a really good episode of The Unit! I always liked Mack when he was in the TOC (Tactical Operations Center) and to see him back in there taking charge in a good movie was really exciting. I hope he gets some better roles though.

I thought he had an amazing accent in that movie. It sounded more southern to me than anything else. Made me want to jump him.

Wow! He oozed so much sexual energy in the role of Negotiator. Okay, maybe I just inferred it that way. Pure sex appeal.

reply

Um, second that.
