I was surprised he was still alive.

Sadly, a genius most people couldn't give two shits about today.

I wasn't sure myself if he was still alive. I found out about it a few minutes ago.

It was said he rarely performed anymore even before Hurricane Katrina. That's probably why a lot of people thought he was dead way before he actually died.
