He wrote a book where he basically tattles on the rest of the cast for their illicit behavior during the filming of the show. It's fine to disapprove of other young people testing boundaries. I'm sure some of their behavior deserved to be called out. But why do it in public? He's clearly cashing in on it & some of it comes off as exaggerated.

He admitted later that he didn't even write the book himself. He said it was ghost written by another writer who interviewed him. He said that many of his claims were made up or exaggerated. I saw it at a used store too, glad I didn't buy it.
I'm guessing since the rest of the cast were all solid 10's (Jesse was an 8) and he was a 4, he wasn't invited to said orgys and is bitter about it.

shareOr they were just being tactful because they're in the public eye, so they're really not going to say something like "Yeah, he's a piece of shit, hate him."
But now it makes it awkward because of the reboot. Naturally they'll want to put an "In Memory of Dustin Diamond" at the end of an episode, but that might feel a bit disingenuous since he was intentionally left out of it
Mario Lopez said publicly that he personally wanted Screech back on the revival.
