She is adorable

It's the first time in a sitcom that my favorite character is a woman
And that's thanks to her performance
In FRIENDS it was Chandler, in HIMYM it was Barney, in TBBT it's Sheldon and Howard etc...
I don't see good female comedians often
She is so natural, cute, nerdy and funny
Kudos to Zooey!

Straight-A student in high school to boot! Other than Winona Ryder I don't know of any other actor/actress that carries this distinction.

Isnt that called "adorkable" now ?

Favorite characters in sitcoms:

Diane Chambers (Shelley Long) was my favorite character on Cheers ... I basically lost interest once she left. I'm not a big fan of Cheers either way, though.

Kelly Bundy (Christina Applegate) was my favorite character on Married ... with children. I probably wouldnt have watched this sitcom at all without her.

Charissa Darling (Melissa Joan Hart) is probably everybodies favorite character from the Clarissa explains it all sitcom, which apparently nowadays is almost impossible to get anywhere, I've only seen the first season.

Same for Sabrina Spellman (again Melissa Joan Hart) from Sabrina, the teenage witch.

Turanga Leela is my favorite character from Futurama.

Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) was my favorite character from Boy Meets World. A show that starts tolerable but progresses into completely unbearable later.

Annie Edison (Alison Brie) is probably my favorite character from Community, though I'm not 100% positive, it might be I like Abed even more - but I'm not exactly into that show too much anyway, I basically lost interest.

Bernadette Rostenkowski is my favorite character of The Big Bang Theory.

All in all, in many cases its a female thats my favorite character in sitcoms.  The only exceptions I can think of are Becker and Home Improvement, in which the male lead was my favorite. Still, in Becker, Shawnee Smith as Linda was my second favorite.
