Imagine Emilie de Ravin in....

There seems to be a unanimous view on these boards that Emilie de Ravin deserves a wider selection of high profile acting roles.

So here is a hypothetical question. CAN YOU NAME SOME FILMS THAT HAD ROLES WHICH WOULD HAVE SUITED EMILIE DE RAVIN?

In considering this:

a) it is in no way a criticism of the actress who actually played the role.
b) don't rule out films on the basis of age. For instance, if you think Emilie would have been a good Scarlett O'Hara (Gone with the Wind - 1939), feel free to say it!

I think:

1) Emilie de Ravin would be good in period/costume dramas. Perhaps something like MARIE ANTOINETTE (Kirsten Dunst).
2) She could have done a really good job as Alison Lohman's character in DRAG ME TO HELL.
3) Rachel McAdams' character in STATE OF PLAY.
4) Miranda Otto's character in the LORD OF THE RINGS films.
5) This may provoke some disagreement, but I think she would have been awesome as Rose (Kate Winslet's character) in TITANIC.

Lets hope some casting directors read this thread and consider Emilie de Ravin in their upcoming projects!

I don't know anything about the characters in the project, but Leo di Caprio has just signed up to play a psychotic killer in The Devil in the White City, where he preys on unsuspecting women during the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago.

I would like to see Emilie in an interesting period piece like this, maybe as a young woman with a strong attitude. I also think she would be great next to/opposite Leo. Has she acted in a movie with him before?

I am not sure what the women's roles will be in this film, though.

Has anyone read the (non-fiction) book?

I heard about this movie too and i think it will be really interesting!!!! Leo will also be in the movie "Hoover" (J. Edgar Hoover was a character in Public Enemies too), so it would be interesting if Emilie was included in this! But with a bigger role than her role in Public Enemies!!!!!
