High Tension sequel

They should make a High Tension sequel...but they need to give the script a lot of thought and not compromise the quality. Many sequels are not as good as the original, but if you put the time and effort into it, then it can be good. I just want to see some more of Marie's character. I could write the script. Give me a month and I could have a great script.

Here's an idea: Marie and I meet and she turns straight and forgets about Alex. =)

Just kidding, but they really should do a sequel or maybe a prequel. I just want to see more of De France perform as Marie. If they do the script right they could make it great.

When Cecile was asked about a sequel, she said she didn't know if she would. If more money and different aspects were involved she said maybe. It was a hard movie to shoot, they were in the freezing cold and barefoot shooting.

Yeah, I saw that she said she would like to do it if the script was right, and like you said she said it'd be good if there was a bigger budget. She would do it if they had a nice script. I could write the script. I write scripts. There are so many different things you could do with it.

For example: What if the very first thing you see in Part 2 is Marie sleeping in that guest bedroom of Alex's house and it's morning time. And then Marie opens her eyes just to find Alex standing over her smiling and says "Come on, time to get up so we can start studying." Meaning all of part one was a dream, and Marie is in fact normal and not a pyscho and she now has a feeling her nightmare may come to fruition that night and she warns them but they think she's paranoid, but then some weirdo really does come for real. Then the suspense starts all over for another hour and a half.

Yeah, I am not saying this is what should happen. I am simply saying that you can play with it and create something good. This was just a thought off the top of my head. If a few writers got together and brain stormed they could come up with something substancial. If not, let me write the script and I'll come up with something great myself.

I just saw it last night and she was awesome in it. She made an instant fan here.

Hey everybody, how about Marie getting redeemed and released from the mental institution and getting a sex change (like Sleepaway Camp 2 but a girl becoming a guy)? Pretty funny huh? Maybe having Marie becoming part of the norm until she/he has become someone's roomie and it would end up being the very agoraphobic Alex? I would like to see something to that nature but still having Cecile being Marie, even after she gets her sex change and some much needed plastic surgery to fix her face and body scars(A Brand-New Marie!) :)
but...
uh-oh she seems to crack again and starts killing the tenants in their building until it's just Alex and Marie yet again.

Same here, she's a great actress and really made this movie the success that it is.

everyone writes scripts these days, huh? Ever sell one?

I haven't ever actually sold a script, simply b/c as of right now I have no connection to sell one to. On the other hand, I am learning about film making and some people I know are as well, and we are in talks of writing a script and shooting a low budget movie. All it takes are a few people to get together and make it happen. Make a nice low budget film and then if it's good you submit to a film festival and before long you will get recognized. THEN at that point connections will open up. I really am a good screen play writer. I have better ideas than most of these lame hollywood big budget movies.
