She did a film called doubt insulting the Catholic church and Michael Keaton who presented the award to her did a film called spotlight insulting the Catholic church.

Haven't seen Doubt but Spotlight was exposing, not insulting.

Exactly. And while I have not seen Doubt I am pretty sure it is about possible child abuse connected to the catholic church - which also is a very real and important issue worthy of being shown in art.
