On Gunsmoke

Pretty much the only thing I relate Kim Darby to is True Grit, but I have seen her on a particular ep' of Gunsmoke. One of those episodes where it seems like the regular cast barely shows up and the guests do all the heavy lifting.
A very handsome James Stacy was the confident male to Kim's sweet-natured young lady.
Maybe Darby didn't have a lot of range, but she played sweet so well. I found her so beguiling in this episode. Her hair was long and brown, and her face shined with earnestness.
Somewhat the same character as in True Grit, but w/o having to be defiant and with a better hairstyle and clothes. Just thinking of some of the shots of her make me smile, she's so pleasant and pretty. I hope she's still around and gets my little fan letter.

What I want to know is WHY her famous made for TV thriller "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark" (1973) is not listed on this site? It is on every other site.
I remember True Grit and am sure I recognized her in it. My next recollection of her was in a two part 1974 episode of Marcus Welby MD. She played a distrubed girl who claims Dr. Kiley (James-WOOFS-Brolin) is the father of her fetus. I only remember it because they made such a great looking couple (or else I was just at that hormonal stage and thought EVERYONE should be making love). Anyway, it stuck with me.
She had another antagonistic role in Rich Man Poor Man (1976).
After that I remember her in nothing.

You're welcome.
Sometimes you have to play with the search feature. Sometimes just putting the title in is enough. Sometimes you have to put the title in with the date. Sometimes you have to put the title in with the date in parentheses. Sometimes you have to put the title in quotation marks. It's definitely a crap shoot sometimes.

That happened a lot in the color episodes. The black and white ones are so much more superior.
