He overacted so much in that movie, Painful to watch.

Dano was miscast & completely out of his depth acting opposite to Daniel Day Lewis and it really showed. DDL was in top form & carries the film in spite of Dano.

Same...he's a way talented actor...maybe not DDL, but who is, you know?
Yeah I despised his character in this movie...like the scene where he's berating his father before beating him? Holy crap that was...yeah Dano was great IMO.
