I KNEW he reminded me of someone and finally figured it out--he looks like/resembles Bradley Soileau (heavily tattooed model/actor best known for Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" video...)

He actually looks like a younger white version of American Indian (aka Native-American) Lou Diamond Phillips.
