And on another note, how people look often open doors to Hollywood. Completely ordinary looking person would have a hard time becoming a movie star. And Paul Dano mostly plays someone evil and insecure, which in my opinion, is greatly to do with his looks. He looks like a punchable bad person (purely judging by the looks, not the persona).
