Not in a bad way, but he had such an odd character on I Dream of Jeannie, if I recall.
Seems like he was in the Air Force or something, yet he was bumbling and not very confident.
Wasn't his name Roger?
So funny how we didn't care about character incongruities back then. The more accomplished and wealthy you were, you were that much clueless and dis-liked.
Sitcoms wouldn't be fun if everyone was smart and reasonable.

Yeah....but Major Healy was a great character even though he was a goof. We still get characters today that are similar. Bill was fortunate to have two great characters on two great shows. Howard Borden on the Bob Newhart was the other.

No, I'm not a "big fan", but I grew up watching the show. I'm just really surprised this man's death was hardly reported, while I still have to hear about Ariana Grande's dumbass ex-boyfriend.

They do disappear into obscurity these sitcom actors. I was asking about Howard Hesseman who played Dr Fever on WKRP.

I had to look him up to see what he looked like again. I never really watched that show. Loni Anderson was the one I was most familiar with.
