Why is he no longer on Scandal?

I was wondering that too. He was the original reason I started watching Scandal. It's odd they would get rid of his character.

They didn't get rid of him, he left voluntarily. His character is missed :(

I second that. His character was good. They should either get him back or someone similar to take his place.

I know. I saw him on Fringe so I looked up to see what he had done lately. When I saw he was on Scandal I decided to give it a try, but if he's off now...Meh. I guess they never explained it either, on the show or otherwise. I have no desire to watch The Mentalist and otherwise it looks like he is doing "B" type movies. What is up? I loved him so much as Desmond on Lost. I know it can hurt some actors when they are so identified with a role. I hope he finds a good role because I will watch.

He should do a guest surprise spot next season.
