This is PRECISELY why the word feminism should simply be replaced with equality. Personally, I see too many double standards displayed under the guise of feminism. There'd be no confusion or hypocrisy in Equality

Really? And how many movies/TV shows does Hollywood spew out where women are being mocked and degraded for "entertainment" value?

I don't know about you but I don't see any movies where it's typical for men to be called bitches and hoes and flash their junk everywhere and then made fun of besides.

Check out any sitcom. Modern Family paints Phil like a bumbling fool. Most men are painted as idiots who are nowhere near as attractive or intelligent as their wives, witness Everybody Loves Raymond, the Middle, Last Man Standing, etc.

There was a whole show, Sex and the City, where men were summed up as pieces of meat and little else.

Hollywood deals in base characters who are easy to like and laugh at. It is almost always paints guys as idiots and women as young and sexy, or once they're married, they become the smart, pulled together super mom who is Mom to her kids and her husband.

Fairly degrading to both sexes. And very lazy of Hollywood.
