Rifleman

I am RE-hooked on Rifleman - Johnny Crawford was an amazing child actor as Mark McCain. They've had a few on lately that gave me goosebumps or brought tears to my eyes!! It's really saying something when the best part of my nightly tv viewing becomes a show that's almost 50 years old. You just cannot improve on the early tv westerns. They are fascinating! Kudos to the Kid, Johnny Crawford. And as for the music, ROCK ON, dude.

I am with you moonchild. where in the world did you find the old episodes? I am dying to see them again.

They show 2 every day, at 7 pm and 7:30, for sure, I believe there are other slots during the day, too. Someone else mentioned that the 168 episodes are out on DVD, though. I don't know about that, but I'm sure you can check amazon and ebay.

I'm watching it right now! It's a fab show by the way (pretty odd that im so hooked being a teenage girl and all). Anyhow, as to your question. The show airs daily on Encore Westerns at 1:00 & 1:30pm and ever (4pm on Satellite) and Nightly at 1 & 1:30am.

I take a little Chigurh in my coffee.

Thanks crooked spoons. I wish I could get encore right now. I don't blame you for being hooked. Good stories and good acting are timeless, just as are good books. When I was a litle girl, my dad was killed in the Navy. I depended on shows like the rifleman, andy griffith, even gomer pyle to get a view of the world, in a sense. More than a few Americans did, I think, whether or not they'd be willing to admit it. I wish, I can only wish, that writers today had the hearts to write like that again. I think it was transform society into a nicer, gentler world. Thanks for letting me know the time and slots.

Go to Hulu dot com and watch The Rifleman beginning with Season 1 Episode 1. Lucas purchased the Dunlap Ranch in the first episode. In the second episode, Lucas tells Mark the story of Job (from the bible).

I don't believe that Hulu has the third episode but I do know that episodes four and six are available there. I'm going there now to pick up where I left off.

Enjoy!!!
