The Rifleman is Pure Bliss...
Truly miss the days of such quality, family programming. God bless Chuck, Johnny, Paul and the gang for giving us such wonderful, heartfelt viewing moments. :)

shareAmen.
shareI agree :-)
shareYes. Yes. Imo All the writers of quality have died out. Besides the millennials wouldn't sit still for quality TV. They want garbage TV. As far as I can tell.
Yes there is nothing like watching the old episodes that have been airing early on AMC, I try to catch them when they're on and I'm awake. This was seriously great TV, I have a few current shows that I love these days(not many great ones, but a few), but most of rest are just time killing fluff for the masses and I'm not even talking about reality TV(just no).
I came here after watching Johnny Crawford sing Green Sleeves while playing the guitar and his voice was amazing, truly a talented young boy at the time. I thought to myself what is he up to nowadays and is he even still alive(you never know). His filmography is saddeningly short after the Rifleman, a few cameo's in single TV episodes and a couple odd film roles, but not what I expected to see. Wonder why he never made it after The Rifleman?
I'm watching a marathon now of Rifleman on Sundance. I loved this show as a kid and still do. There's a moral lesson in every episode.
Johnny aka Mark McCain was such a handsome little boy. He grew up to be a handsome man too...looks the same, no matter his age.
I'm going to continue watching and enjoying the marathon. :)

And Herschel Burke Gilbert for the beautiful "Rifleman" music!
