The actor in the film resembles Chuck but it's not him. The actor in the film is not as tall as Chuck was.
shareHe is listed as playing the role of Police Captain on his IMDb page as well as in the list of cast for the movie. I don't know what the OP is referencing regarding how he got the role.
The OP sounds like someone wanting to stir something up on the wrong board (doesn't this "discussion" about Chuck Connors belong on the Chuck Connors board?) and trolling for someone to engage in conversation about rumored salacious activities of someone they never met, don't know and who is long dead so cannot defend himself. A lot of sick, sad people populate IMDb.
He loved and respected Chuck Connors. So, I doubt anything you say about the man would change that for Johnny.
Besides, whatever you're referring to, I'm sure it took place when Johnny was still a kid and wouldn't know much about the man at that age.
