Yes, very much so. In particular the scene in GoT where Jaime is confronting his father in his tent (when we're first introduced to Tywin). I kept wondering what Sawyer was doing conferring with the patriarch of the Lannister family.

Bit late to this, but no, I must say that IMHO Josh Holloway is more attractive. Josh has the pouty lips. But still Nikolaj is really hot too.

Josh Holloway was one of the most beautiful men in the world at his prime days as a male model and actor just starting out, so imho there is no comparison looks-wise to Coster-Waldau (who is also quite the looker, just not on Holloway's level). I think, more than anything, it's the way these two actors play their roles that is strikingly similar. Everytime I see Jaime on-screen my heart starts screaming "Sawyer"! I know it's bad of me, but I looove watching Costwer-Waldau as Jaime Lannister whereas in the book I am left often wanting to smack him.

Agree. He's surely more similar to Josh Holloway than to Aaron Eckhart, Thomas Jane, Jon Hamm, or anyone else named on this board.

I was going to post the same thing. I don't know why everyone keeps saying Dennis Leary and Aaron Eckhart and what not. NOt even close. This dude looks and acts like Sawyer!!

Rewatching GOT right now and it's uncanny, really. BUT only when he had longer hair and a beard. This last season I couldn't see the resemblance anymore. And I think Holloway is hotter. Nikolaj is a very handsome man as well, but Holloway is near perfect in my book.

And on some small level, I think you owe me something for deceiving me so exquisitely.

Now that you say it, they do look quite similar.
