Good riddance!

I actually liked Bob when he first worked for NBC in the 1980s, but he quickly grew so full of himself that I soon learned to tune him out, even if he was working a game I was watching. He became the absolute epitome of announcers/broadcasters who think the viewers are really interested in them as opposed to the actual game/teams/players. For the last 30 years, he's been using his position as a pulpit to "enlighten the masses" on far too many issues, hoping it will distract the audience from noticing how ridiculous his latest hair-dye looks. His most recent display of cognitive decline was 2024's ALCS between the Yankees and Royals, and we can all be thankful he has finally realized the obvious. He emphatically won't be missed.
