I'm from Australia... and until seeing the Late Late Show recently I had never heard of this guy...
I kinda see things about him being a stage actor... so was he well known before this in other parts of the world? And if so, what is he known for?

(I personally don't mind him and find him quite cute and funny... mind you, most of my boyfriends have been British lol So I have a thing for brits and I guess I'm accustomed to that type of humor... but I have to admit I'll be very surprised if his show lasts with an American audience)

He famous in the UK for being everywhere and doing everything;

Actor and writer in the BAFTA winning series Gavin and Stacey.

Actor in the award winning The History Boys stage play which was turned into a film using the same cast.

A TV presenter on shows like A League of their Own.

He presented the Brit Awards for the past few years with mixed results.

He's done comedy sketches for Comic Relief and Sports Relief and has generally been wherever there's a been a camera.

He's a ubiquitous figure in the UK and too lesser extent in Ireland by proxy.
