Why do tons of people hate him?

No, he isn't.

I was thinking the same. He seems a nice bloke from what I've seen of him, was sounded truly humbled by the NY Honours and he was also very sweet and incredibly nervous when he was recently on the late late show with Craig Ferguson, in the run up to his take over of that.
I wonder if, with James, it might be jealousy on some peoples part because he's really doing well at the moment, seems happily married, couple of kids etc etc and yet aesthetically he's not a young brad Pitt, he's very much a normal looking bloke and that topped with his success can incite huge envy because people do think "why couldn't that have been me?".
Personally, I like him. He's done a lot for charity and can obviously turn his hand to many different things.
I guess its just the first natural reaction now to attack rather than be proud of someone for doing well. Sad really but I hope he himself never looks at boards like this because its pretty much just bullying (see the oh so original pie eating post above yours)

I think I like him. And he's certainly talented. Plus, he's lost weight.

he seems to inspire a lot of jealousy in people especially in Britain, dont worry abouyt the haters he is doing briliant and fair play to him, the haters can suck it

Well you have to give him/her "fat", he is that, but as reasons for hating people go, that one really doesn't reflect very well on the hater, if you know what I mean.

Beats me, he seems fun and charming to me.
