Just mentioned his wife. I thought he was gay all this time. Course he

acts gay and he talks gay so...

Never checked his bio.

Who else thought/was convinced he was gay?

Kay: Senators and presidents don't have men killed.
Michael: Oh, who's being naive, Kay?

reply

From what I've seen traveling to the UK, male British media types adopt a flirtatious personality with anyone considered sexy or attractive, regardless of gender. ;-)

reply

Exactly what I came here to say! And not just in a flirtatious with all guests sort of way. I could have SWORN I'd heard him say he was gay. Openly, casually, nonchalantly, even, rather than as part of some joke. I'm so confused right now! Whatever. Love him either way. He's the funniest on late night right now, and that's saying quite a bit.

reply

Yeah, I remember him saying that. Saying things like, "I could tear him up right now". Must be part of the show.

reply

Typical American. He has an English Accent so that makes him gay?

I really wish we got more international television here in the States.

reply

So, what's your hypothesis for British actors in US series, (e .g., Hugh Laurie and Damien Lewis) employing "American" accents? Do Americans assume they're bi?

Anyone who assumes an accent confers sexual orientation is an idiot, no matter where they hail from.

reply

He should really come out. He's embarrassing himself by being closeted.
