Everything Ms. Condon appears in she knocks it out of the park. Loved her in Unleashed, loved her in Rome, Ray Donovan and love her in Better Call Saul. She can play a wide range of characters, and I'm honestly astounded that she continues to be overshadowed. Oh, well...
I find her on a range from plan to annoying. She is IMO superbly annoying in her delivery in Better Call Saul and I think she was one of the weakest elements of an otherwise nearly perfect show (Rome); she was not "BAD" in Rome I wouldn't say; just bland and forgettable; like she could have easily been played by anyone and easily replaced; where as someone like the actress playing Attia was irreplaceable.
She was rather bland replaceable in Unleashed as well. Don't get me wrong I don't think she is a bad actress; just not remarkable in any way; totally forgettable and seems like anyone could replace her.
Also; this is totally preference, I do not find her the least bit stunning (attractive); she is way too skinny and bony in the face. Her features are not rounded enough; too sharp. I almost find looking at her uncomfortable.
You may have a point insofar that it comes down to a matter of preference. I enjoy her acting style. I find that she disappears into her best roles while also not calling attention to herself in the traditional way that most American actors practice. Maybe it's that I've sought out her work, but from my observations she does the job and makes the most of the material given to her as any good actor should.
Not usually attracted to skinny lasses, but Condon carries herself with a particular elegance not unlike - dare I say it - Audrey Hepburn. She's definitely capable of hitting the same notes of grace and genuine emotion, but we all know she's not getting cast in the same types of movies as any conventional movie star, but at least she gets some of that Marvel Money for recording her lines in a booth. I bet Audrey Hepburn would have done that.
That is true; she is good about 'blending' into a role and not really trying to 'steal' the scene. There is something to be said about that kind of dedication and humility; and I guess I can see how that might be 'attractive' and make her acting more appealing. If you ask me to compare her to someone like Brie Larson or Jennifer Lawrence; I take Condon all the way (in terms of acting anyway).
When it comes to 'attractiveness' I don't find any of the actresses I listed the least bit attractive.
