I know this is a bit old, but I just found out about this recently.

Seriously? This is the best Lucasfilm can come up with?

There are thousands of people with film credentials around the world that love Star Wars and would not make this mistake.

Is it so difficult to get a director for a Star Wars movie or series that actually likes Star Wars?

When choosing who to direct the next "Star Wars" product, you know that Kathleen Kennedy just puts the headshots of a bunch of random directors on her desk and goes "Eenie, Meenie, Miney Mo."
