I simply don't care whether Taika Waititi is Maori, or Jewish, or black, or whatever other labels you want to apply. The fact that you think these things, skin color or place of birth, are defining factors of a human being... that we need to amplify them, label, and judge people differently because of them, is something that I'm not a fan of.
The fact that you are, and are so quick to label others as "white supremacists" for having a mentality that is literally the opposite of such a thing, is so backwards, juvenile and ridiculous that it isn't even worth responding to. Yet, here we are. My mistake.
Not to mention, the title of this topic mentions him being Maori, but I wasn't responding to that - I was responding to the fact that he won an Oscar for Jojo Rabbit of all films. If there was another topic that simply mentioned him winning an Oscar for Jojo Rabbit, I would have commented there. But there wasn't. You were the one who had to bring all this other nonsense into the discussion, because of course you would.
So, shall we waste more time on this? You have any more meaningless, baseless insults to throw out? Or is it time to move on, and accept that some people have different opinions than you whether someone deserves an Oscar or not?
