I want someone to explain to me why he is not in the RRHOF.
This guy epitomized rock and roll in both life and performance but has been snubbed big time.

I know Jann Wenner (former head of "Rolling Stone" magazine) had a lot of pull back in the day and there were just certain artists/styles of music that he didn't care for. The R &R HOF voting has been ridiculous for years (I still can't believe Madonna got voted in, for example...that was really the inductee that soured me on their voting process). But I agree that Cocker should be in there.
I'm not a fan of Motley Crue or Ted Nugent, but both of these acts deserve to be in there, too.
And like you mentioned Madonna, it irks me that while there are so many deserving performers, these clearly non-RR people are getting in while they are not.
Another thing that is frustrating is if one goes back and reads what the original founders intended and based their money raising on, it is clear what the RRHOF was supposed to be and it is not what it is today.
You'd think Cocker would be someone they'd champion to get in...overcame alcohol abuse, had several "classic" songs, etc. It's a shame he didn't get in before he died (and ridiculous that he's still not in today, by the way)
