Nicest guy you'd ever want to meet

Met Kim today at the grand opening of the new Harley Davidson in Scottsdale. He showed up for the signing right on time, and stood out in front of the table they had set up so he could shake hands/hug/talk with people as they came up.

He looked pretty much exactly like he did when playing Tig - same unruly hair (somewhat shorter), goatee and mustache. Just as relaxed, friendly and interested in what everybody had to say to him as could be. (Ron Perlman was the same way at Comicon earlier this year.)

I told Kim that I thought he was a great actor and that I really enjoyed watching him work, and he told me that it was very important for him to hear that. He asked whether I'd seen any of his movies, and I mentioned Waterworld - told him that I didn't realize that was him (as "Drifter #2") till I saw his name in the credits. He told me, "That was a lot of fun. I really freaked Jeannie Triplehorn out."
