I don't really understand his appeal. How does a guy who was a Daily Show correspondent make a transition to movies? I mean really how did this guy get noticed? What did they think he had the acting chops based on his comic ability? And now nominated for Foxcatcher? What made Hollywood notice him over say, Stephen Colbert who was basically doing the same thing?

He was incredible in The Office, both with the quality of his performance and the comedic value he brought to the show.
