Love him as a guitar player!
I'm a big fan of Mike Campbell's playing. In case you didn't know, Campbell was Tom Petty's lead guitarist in The Heartbreakers for many years and I just loved their music.
However, I think my favorite song of his is the great Don Henley classic "The Boys Of Summer." Campbell wrote the music as a "demo tape" that he originally offered to Petty to record, but Petty passed. Henley heard it, liked it, and wrote the lyrics to it. What a great, great song it is!
Anyway, I wanted to give Mr. Campbell a post of appreciation also...what a great guitarist he is!
