Q: If he is the supporting actor at MF, who the heck is the LEAD???

Just saw that he won the EMMY for best supporting actor in a comedy series!

While being immensely happy for him (along with the fact that MF won best comedy series too!), i'm actually baffled as to WHO THEY CONSIDER AS THE LEAD ACTOR??

any views??

P.S.: The best explanation i believe is tht the makers of the show purposely put him in this category to avoid the competition in lead actor category and increase his chances of winning (they def succeeded in tht!)

My thought was since it's an ensemble cast, there really is no LEAD. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ed O'Neill, Sofia Vergara & Julie Bowen (who also won) were all nominated for Emmys & they were all in the supporting categories.
