I came googled his ethnicity after looking at him and wondering if he had Mediterranean or African blood. I found him unusual looking with interesting hair. Low and behold I was right. But as Mediterranean with 10% North African blood I guess it takes one to know one.

shareMost white people who have a tiny percentage of non-white genes will identify with that non-white heritage, even if it makes no sense. It seems to make them feel like they have some kind of minority status with the NPR crowd.
