Did her daughter audition for the role and not get it...?

It's no secret that her daughter desperately wants a career in the entertainment industry. She even has a youtube channel of singing and just commentary, so obviously she is trying to build a fan base. I won't sling mud at her for using her mom for views and likes, as I do NOT blame her and anyway, a lot of youtubers have their moms on their channels, famous moms or not, so I am not condemning her in any way...but it's obvious that she wants to be famous or at least make her living in the spotlight and it's obvious she's not completely trying to start from Square One like anybody else, as she posts on her mom's instagram constantly to get views for her channel (again I DO NOT BLAME HER, not condemning her for this.) So why then couldn't Natasha have portrayed Candance's daughter in her new film 'Just The Way You Are' in which there was at least one role for a teenage daughter who could sing? I know that CCB isn't exactly Steven Spielberg, she doesn't have a whole lot of money or power in Hollywood, but I imagine she can at least get her daughter an audition. Is it safe to say Natasha auditioned for the role and didn't get the part? I can't imagine she just wouldn't audition, since she's the same age as the girl, obviously LOOKS enough like CCB's daughter to actually be her daughter, wants to be on camera, sings etc....
