It seems they talk about whatever decision they need to make as a family and her husband makes the final decision.
It doesn't seem bad to me. Her relationship works and we don't have any right to say otherwise. She's been married for 17 years and they're happy.

shareWell, she has the right to live her life as she wishes and however she feels it fits her best. She obviously has her own belief system and it happens to be very religious, very Christian, and as long as her kids aren't being hurt, no one else isn't hurt, I don't really see the big deal. Everyone believes in something whether it's God or nothing. Most Asian and African culture have women be very submissive and to the point even where the woman is not allowed to be involved in her husband's decision making. It's the man's job to provide for the family, support them, and to make any decisions that he feels is the right one.

That is not what it means to be in a marriage where you are a submissive wife (from a biblical perspective). Do the research on the ideals about it . I doubt its what you think it is.

She and her husband make decisions for their family and if they can not agree she steps back and let's him be to leader of the household and she trusts that he will make the best decision for the benefit of their entire family.
