VERY good point. I often think that I'm the only one who notes that the words "irony","ironically" and "ironic" - confused in that order - is (for the term "coincidence" and related) very frequently MISUSED!
(At least Alanis Morrissette in 1995 got the definition right in her big hit song "Ironic").
